About this apprenticeship

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles under supervision.
Assist with diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
Learn to repair and replace vehicle components, including brakes, suspension, steering, clutches and engines.
Work on prestige vehicles including Audi, Mercedes-Benz and other premium manufacturers.
Complete vehicle health checks and accurately record findings.
Use specialist workshop tools and manufacturer-approved diagnostic software.
Follow manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
Learn how to carry out MOT preparation and rectification work.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
Work closely with experienced technicians to develop practical skills and technical knowledge.
Build confidence in customer service by understanding repair requirements and communicating with the service team.
Attend training and complete all coursework required for the Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent full-time position as a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician.
