Terms of Service – ValuePlacement
1. Welcome
Welcome to the Terms of Service for ValuePlacement. This is an agreement (“Agreement”) between ValuePlacement Ltd (“ValuePlacement”), the owner and operator of valueplacement.co.uk (the “Site”) and the ValuePlacement recruiting and training service (collectively the “Service”), and you.
Our Privacy Policy sets out how we process any personal data we collect or you provide. By using our Service, you consent to this processing and confirm that all data you provide is accurate and current.
By accessing or using the Site in any way—including registering, using the Service, or browsing—you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site and Service.
Throughout this document, the terms “ValuePlacement,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to ValuePlacement Ltd. The term “Student” refers to users seeking placements or training. “Employer” refers to companies using our Service to find talent. “You” refers to all users of the Site.
2. Description of Service
ValuePlacement is a platform connecting Vocational students with employers for work experience and placement opportunities. Students create profiles to be matched with potential Employers. Our team may review applications and offer support during placements.
3. Registration
You agree to provide accurate and current information and keep your profile updated. You are responsible for activities under your account and must not impersonate others or use false information. We reserve the right to reject or suspend accounts that provide false or incomplete information.
4. Your Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Misuse or attempt to hack the Site
- Copy or share information unlawfully
- Post false, misleading, or harmful content
- Interfere with others’ use of the Site
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach this Agreement.
5. Content and Profiles
You may upload CVs, video profiles, and other information. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to use it in connection with the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.
6. Our Role
ValuePlacement acts as a facilitator between Students and Employers. We are not responsible for contracts, terms, or interactions between these parties.
7. Fees
Our Service is currently free for students. Employers may be charged a fee for using our matching services. Terms will be shared with Employers upon onboarding.
8. Limitation of Liability
ValuePlacement is not liable for:
- Content uploaded by users
- Employment decisions or interactions
- Indirect or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for our services in the past 12 months.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology on the Site are owned by or licensed to ValuePlacement. You may not copy or reuse any materials without written consent.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We process your data in line with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. You have rights to access, modify, or delete your data.
11. Termination
You may stop using our Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this Agreement or other lawful reasons.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Changes will take effect 30 days after posting. Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
