About Valueplacement

Valueplacement (valueplacement.co.uk) is a free online platform connecting further education students in Berkshire with employers, charities and voluntary organisations offering work experience, placements, part-time jobs and volunteering opportunities.

Valueplacement operates solely as an advertising and connection platform. We are not an employment agency, a placement provider or an employer. We do not enter into contracts of employment on behalf of any student or employer.

By using this website, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

How the Platform Works

Valueplacement provides a space where vetted employers and organisations can advertise opportunities directly to further education students. Students browse listings and contact employers directly — Valueplacement is not involved in any application, interview or hiring process.

We do not act as an intermediary between students and employers during the application process. Any agreement, arrangement or placement that results from a connection made through this site is entirely between the student and the employer.

Student Data — Our Commitment

Valueplacement does not collect, store or share student personal data with employers or any third party. Students are not required to create an account or provide any personal information to browse opportunities on this site.

The only personal data we hold is information submitted voluntarily through our general enquiry contact form. This data is used solely to respond to the enquiry and is not shared with anyone. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

For Students

Use of Valueplacement is completely free for students. You do not need to register or create an account to browse or apply for opportunities.

When you apply for an opportunity, you are doing so directly with the employer or organisation. Valueplacement is not a party to that interaction and takes no responsibility for the outcome of any application.

You are responsible for verifying the details of any opportunity before applying. We strongly recommend speaking to a parent, carer or college tutor before applying for or attending any opportunity. Please read our Safeguarding Commitment.

You must be aged 16 or over to use this platform.

For Employers and Organisations

Listing opportunities on Valueplacement is completely free. By submitting a listing, you confirm that:

  • The opportunity is genuine and suitable for further education students aged 16 and over
  • The opportunity complies with all applicable UK employment law, including the National Minimum Wage where relevant
  • You will not request personal data from students beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess their suitability
  • You will treat all students fairly, professionally and without discrimination
  • The information provided in your listing is accurate and up to date

You agree to notify us promptly if an opportunity is no longer available so we can remove it from the site. We reserve the right to refuse, amend or remove any listing at our discretion, without notice, if we consider it unsuitable for our audience.

Accuracy of Listings

We review all employer-submitted listings before publication and take reasonable steps to ensure they are genuine and appropriate. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of every detail on every listing and accept no liability for errors or omissions.

Some listings on this site are generated automatically using AI. These are clearly labelled and are intended to illustrate the types of opportunities available. Students should verify all details directly with the named organisation before applying.

Intellectual Property

All content, design and code on this website is owned by or licensed to Valueplacement. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or republish any part of this site without our prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Valueplacement is provided as a free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, damage or harm arising from your use of this site, any opportunity listed on it, or any interaction between a student and an employer facilitated through it.
