About this apprenticeship

As a Groundworks Apprentice, you will support site teams with a range of groundwork activities, including:

Site preparation and setting up work areas
Assisting with excavation and trenching works
Installing drainage systems and underground services
Concreting, kerbing and paving works
Learning how to use construction tools and equipment safely
Supporting the installation of foundations and sub-structures
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Following health, safety and environmental procedures at all times

Training

You will work towards a:
Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeship Standard
Training will be delivered through a combination of on-site learning and attendance one week a month at Kilnbridge's chosen apprenticeship provider.  

What you could go on to do

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship the apprentice will undergo further development opportunities, including plant operations, specialist groundwork activities and supervisory qualifications.
